‘A lovingly tended, beautiful and spectacular flower garden’

Jane Edmanson - ABC’s Gardening Australia

6 & 7 April 2019
12 noon to 4 pm - Free entry

On 6 and 7 April the Tibetan Buddhist Society will open its superb gardens to the public, free of charge, from 12 noon to 4 pm.

As well as a multitude of beautiful, colourful rose bushes, the gardens also feature salvias, California redwoods, golden robinias and a lake. Also set within the grounds is a beautiful traditional Tibetan temple, one of few in the Western world.

In our fast-paced world, peaceful and beautiful places for people to relax are more important than ever. Many who visit the centre and gardens comment on the peace and tranquillity. The garden is filled with hundreds of beautiful trees and peaceful lawns to relax and unwind.

• A lovely outdoor café, with Devonshire tea and coffee
• Free guided meditation in the temple, for a calm and peaceful mind
• Free garden tours to learn about the gardens and their development
• Fascinating temple tours - $5 per head
• A second-hand book stall to raise funds for our community food progam.
