To acknowledge Women’s History Month, on Sunday, March 3 the Friends of ANZAC Cottage proudly present its March Open Day entitled “Courage, Coupons and Concerns” where we pay homage to the Australian women who kept the ‘home fires’ burning during World Wars I and II. Talks at 1:45 and 2:45 will discuss some of the challenges faced by these ladies and how they supported those who were involved in the conflicts far from their homes.
ANZAC Cottage is located at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mount Hawthorn and will be open from 1pm to 4pm. Entry is free with afternoon tea available for a gold coin donation. For more information, please call Anne on 0411 44 55 82 or email chapan@highway1.com.au
