The Orchards Norwest Rooftop Open To The Public

For one day only, the rooftop of the newest development overlooking one of Sydney’s newest suburbs will be open to the public.

As completion of Imperial – the first stage of The Orchards Masterplanned community in Norwest – draws nearer, developer Sekisui House is opening the rooftop on Saturday 8 December to show off the spectacular 360-degree views over the Garden Shire.

Overlooking the Castle Hill Country Club golf course and the lakes, parks and homes of the recently-minted suburb of Norwest, Imperial offers a fantastic vantage of some of the most attractive vistas in the Hills. The sneak-peak will be a rare opportunity for general public to experience the brand-new building and rooftop for themselves before residents start moving in come early 2019.

Designed by award-winning architects, Turner, Imperial’s design includes stunning vertical orchards on the façade of the buildings and a beautiful rooftop dining and entertaining area for residents and their guests. Guided tours will run on Saturday 8 December from 11.00am to 3.00pm throughout the day and visitors will be offered complimentary coffee, light refreshments, a rooftop barbecue and a chance to meet the team behind The Orchards.

Sekisui House sales and marketing operations manager Paul Wainwright says that the open day offers a unique opportunity to see what Sekisui House is creating at The Orchards, as the Imperial rooftop area will be for the exclusive use of residents once the building is completed in early 2019.

“We are excited about opening the doors of the first stage of The Orchards and we welcome everyone to come and preview the display apartments on the open day,” says Wainwright. “The apartments have been styled and furnished by The Hired Home to compliment the modern aesthetics of these impressive state-of-the-art homes.”

Imperial, stage one of the $1 billion, 1,300-apartment precinct, incorporates 121 one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments across two buildings. The first stage will be followed by six more phases of construction across the 8.8-hectare site, with full masterplan completion expected in 2025.
