A commemoration of the centenary of the end of World War I

The Allegri Ensemble presents a reflective and evocative program of music commemorating the centenary of Armistice including Allegri's Miserere, Howells' Requiem and an excerpt from Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem - a call for peace after the ravages of war.

The concert will also feature the war poetry of Walt Whitman, brought to life by reknowned Hobart actor, Robert Jarman.
