May 2016 will see communities all over Australia ‘dack up and donate’ on a day in May to raise funds and awareness for sick kids in hospital. Since 2013, Tracky Dack Day (TDD) has been the major annual fundraiser for TLC for Kids, Australia’s only and fastest emergency response support for distressed kids in hospital and their families. Founder and CEO, Tim Conolan, was named Australian of the Year Local Hero 2014 for his extraordinary work in this area.

The act of wearing trackies is a show of solidarity with sick children in hospital who are often encouraged to change into trackies to lift their mood and make themselves feel more comfortable. To take part in TDD, registrants simply pick a day in May to wear tracksuit pants and make a donation to the cause.
